The Problem
Risk of abuse and violence against police officers has long been an occupational hazard. Changing behaviour patterns, in particular through drink and drugs, has increased that risk.
The Solution
driverSHIELDS are ideal for single crewed vehicles where the driver may be vulnerable to physical abuse or attack.
Two shield overlap
A pair of shields fitted to driver and front passenger seats creates a separate rear 'cell' which holds a detainee safely, without loss of audio/visual contact. In an emergency an officer is given a safe facility in which to call for back-up.
